Feng Zhengjie is a chinese artist, born in 1963. Through his paintings, he wants to criticize the trap of a market society China can't escape. Using the "pop-art color palette", the artist paints on canvas asian models and many others people belonging to the asian popular culture. Feng wants to represent them with an exaggerated beauty, he also gives them a blank look by making each eyes staring at opposite ways. We could easily associate his trademark to his vision of consumerism.
