Here's some *very rare* video footage of dancehall competions from Jamaica. Those kind of battles opposing "Dancehall Queens" also inspired the 90s self-titled movie. Some of those girls still remain huge icons in Jamaica and overseas, such as Carlene Smith who also made an appearance in the 'Murder She Wrote' music video.
