SHAKEDOWN is an experimental documentary released in 2018 by the artist and founder of the famous streetwear brand Hood by Air, Leilah Weinraub. The documentary is a major element in a 15-year-long project envisioned by Weinraub. Indeed she began shooting in 2002 once she got hired as a videographer and photographer at the notorious lesbian parties thrown by the promoter Ronnie Ron and Shakedown's exotic dancers in Los Angeles. The collaboration came to an end in 2004 when the main venue got shut down by the police. In 2 years, Weinraub shot over 400 hours of footage now considered as archives. In March 2020, the documentary was available for streaming on PornHub via a digital platform for a limited period. You can watch it below:
