リリイ・シュシュのすべて “All About Lily Chou-Chou” (2001)

リリイ・シュシュのすべて "All About Lily Chou-Chou" is a Japanese film released in 2001, written, directed and edited by Shunji Iwai. At the time of its release, the film stood out for its non-coventional aesthetic choices: embodied by the use of the Sony HDW-FW900 camera, which gives it a distinctive grain, and for its desire to get as close as possible to a cruel and violent teenage reality.

The plot centers around the character of Yuichi Hasumi, a quiet, introverted 14-year-old high-school student who finds refuge in music and the forum dedicated to his favorite band "Lily Chou-Chou" (a fictional band created mainly for the film).

This "Coming-of-Age" film takes us into the daily lives of many teenagers in their quest for identity and sometimes subjected to bullying and loneliness.
