Paul Laurenzi is a French painter who began his career in the late 80s. Strongly inspired by Da Vinci, Vermeer, Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalí, he depicts different aspects of femininity through an explicit suggestiveness, with oil or acrylic techniques.
Using Greco-Roman mythological figures such as lascivious goddesses and mischievous fauns, Laurenzi evokes a fantastic world, while exploring the duality between gentleness, delicacy and virility: as represented in Jean Cocteau's film "Beauty and the Beast". Paul Laurenzi plunges us into an erotic and marvelous world where sensuality reigns.
